    Recipe – Dauphinoise Potatoes

This recipe is inspired and adapted from one of the recipes in Jamie Oliver’s 30 Minute Meals cookbook. I changed the recipe around a bit to work for me by removing and swapping some of the ingredients for things that are more regularly sitting in our fridge. This dish goes well with nearly anything from “boerewors” to pork chops and it’s really easy and fast to make. Dauphinoise Potatoes. Dauphinoise Potatoes Ingredients: 4 – 6 Potatoes, peeled and sliced 250 ml Cream 1 Purple Onion, peeled, halved and sliced (You can use a white onion as well I just like the…

Cajun Chicken with Zucchini Tomatoes and No Calorie Noodles

Last week I was introduced to No Calorie Noodles and it intrigued me, sometime that’s going to fill you up with no guilt? How is that even possible? They were kind enough so send over some packets for me to experiment with and today I’m sharing the first dish I prepared using the No Calorie Shirataki Noodles. You can read more about it over here. Cajun Chicken with Zucchini Tomatoes and No Calorie…

Sierra Spiced changed the way I like my tequila!

I’ve never been much of a party girl except for a very brief period as a student when Hatfield square was a once a week social gathering. This only went on for about 3 months and I was over it. This is when I first made tequila’s acquaintance! Funnily enough tequila has always been the one hard liquor that’s never given me that dreaded hangover. Till today when shots are to be had tequila is my choice. Another favourite on a hot day is a frozen margarita. Merriment & Co was kind enough to send over a bottle of Sierra Spiced,…
