{DIY} Ylang Ylang and Lavender Bath Salts, Absolutely Life

Hi guys! I’ve always wanted to venture into making my own natural bath products so today I’ve made my first bath of bath salts. This one will be gifted but I kept some for myself aside to try. The products I’ve used are all natural and can be found in most households.

{DIY} Ylang Ylang and Lavender Bath Salts, Absolutely Life

    Bath Salts

    • 1 1/2 Cups of Epsom Salts
    • 3/4 Cup of Kosher Coarse Salt
    • 30ml Olive Oil
    • 15 Drops of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
    • 5 Drops of Lavender Oil
    • A hand full of Lavender buds and leaves

Dry the lavender buds and leaves in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. While the lavender is drying out combines the Epsom and Kosher Salts in a glass mixing bowl. Mix in the olive oil, make sure it’s combined really well. Next mix in the essential oils, combine really well. Last but not least add the dried lavender. Place your homemade bath salts in a jar and enjoy in your bath water!

The combination of lavender and ylang ylang is great for relaxing. This will make a great wedding shower, birthday or Christmas gift for a friend, a mom an aunt or even a teacher.
