This being lipstick week on Pieces in Pink it’s only fitting that I bring you some lipstick reviews and first up are these two lovely shades from Catrice, Ultimate Colour in Star Rust 280 and Luminous Lips in Wood Rose Propose? 120. Catrice Lipsticks coming right up.

Catrice Lipsticks

Ultimate Colour – Star Rust 280 is a lovely rusty shade with a golden glittery pearly sheen and it goes really well with my skin tone, it’s a sheer shade but still gives my lips a lovely coat of colour.

Luminous Lips in Wood Rose Propose 120 (so fun saying Wood Rose Propose, just love this name) is a more pinky nude colour with a pearly sheen as well, this one is really close to my natural lip colour and is lovely for a no-makeup makeup look, it just softly defines my lip.

Both these lippies glide on smoothly, they are moisturizing and the staying power is really excellent. Both lipsticks has a really creamy formula when I wanted to remove the swatches from my arm I had to scrub it off so the staying power great. It lasts on my lips really well too I do however feel the need to re-apply after eating and drinking. For an affordable brand these lipsticks are really great, both retail for R69.95.
