My Favourite Fragrances: Calvin Klein Obsession

Wow it feels like ages has gone past since I last did a favourite fragrance post! So today I’m sharing one of my new fragrances with you, Obsession by Calvin Klein. I received this as a gift from a family member in the Netherlands. I previously posted about the other version of this perfume, Obsession Night and I just love it. Calvin Klein Obsession.

At first whiff I didn’t really like this fragrance because I tend to like softer flower and fruity scents but I have to admit this fragrance has really grown on me. With top notes of green notes, mandarin orange, vanilla, peach, basil, bergamot and lemon this scent is really “warm”  making this a perfect scent for winter time. The middle notes includes  spices, coriander, sandalwood, orange blossom, jasmine, oakmoss, cedar and rose and the base notes are amber, musk, civet, vanilla, vetiver and incense.  After this fragrance settled it smells beautiful and this is what made me grow fond of it! This fragrance is an Eau de parfum spray and is the purest form of perfume that can be purchased, this makes it a bit expensive, however one application lasts for an entire day. If I have to describe this fragrance in one word it would have to be: sophisticated.

Obsession by Calvin Klein can be purchased from my perfume shop for R880 (100ml)

Let me know if you guys would like for me to do posts on fragrances for him as well!
